The Turkish TV network Acun Medya bought ‘Utopia’ from Talpa the TV network of John de Mol, just like FOX did earlier this year. The American branch Talpa Media USA is working together with FOX at the American version of ‘Utopia’ and it will be broadcast later this year.
The Turkish version will be broadcast by TV8. “’Utopia’ is a big social experiment. It is the most prestigious and innovative reality show on the international market at this moment,” says Acun Ilical the owner of Acun Medya, “we look forward to create our own ‘Utopia’ in Turkey.”
Acun Medya is also responsible for the Turkish version of ‘The Voice’ and ‘The Voice Kids’.
