Following the fact that the webseries "Play it Again, Dick" has wrapped up filming, Buzzfeed has announced that the entire cast of Veronica Mars will be on-screen again.
Well... A fictive version of the actors. The webseries, with Ryan Hansen as the lead, who has already featured on the Veronica Mars series and the movie as Dick Casablancas, will follow Hansen in his attempts to get his own television series. Exactly. Rather meta, isn't it? In that manner, Dick's old acquaintances like Kristen Bell, Eric Colantoni, Jason Dohring and Percy Daggs III will reappear on this as themselves and their well-known alter egos. Even Kyle Gallner will make his return disregarding the fact his character, Cassidy "Beaver" Casablancas died on the show. Moreover, Duncan Kane's long-lost character will return, too. To make it even more confusing, Duncan won't be portrayed by Teddy Dunn again but by Ryan Devlin, who previously starred on the show as Mercer Hayes.
New faces that will be added to the Veronica Mars family are Robert Buckley and Rose McIver. Buckley will portray a flamboyant choreographer, whereas McIver gets the "honour" of portraying the rebellious slut and horny mourner.
Confusing? Very! But at least the Veronica Mars characters will come to life once again in the eight-episode miniseries that will air online on the 15th of September.
