The successful first season of Veronika, starring Swedish top actress Alexandra Rapaport, managed to draw viewers into the story about a pill-addicted policewoman who is confronted with a murder case that puts her own life in jeopardy. What starts as a murder investigation quickly turns into a profound mystery that goes deeper than anyone in town would like to believe.
Season two delves deeper into the life of Veronika, who still struggles with the shadows of her past and her mysterious visions. Although she longs for a normal life as a police officer, she is drawn into a new, complex murder case with roots that go back sixty years. Balancing between the world of the living and the dead, she sees her carefully constructed facade faltering. An inevitable series of events threatens everything she has built.
Lead actress and executive producer Alexandra Rapaport returns as police officer Veronika Gren. Norwegian actor Tobias Santelmann once again plays her husband Tomas. In addition, Arvin Kananian, Eddie Eriksson Dominguez and Sarah Rhodin can also be seen in this second season.
