'Vikings' renewed with third season

After only four of the ten episodes of season two of ‘Vikings’ have been aired, History announced that the series will be renewed for a third season.

Vikings has become one of the most interesting and visually stunning series on TV,” according to History’s general director Dirk Hoogstra. ‘Vikings’ focuses on the young warrior and family man Ragnar, played by actor Travis Fimmel, who wants to explore and conquer new countries.

The new season of ‘Vikings’ will air in the summer of 2015 on History.
