Netflix Reveals Premiere Date for Dutch Comedy Series Voetbalouders

Netflix reveals new footage and premiere date for Dutch comedy series Voetbalouders (Soccer parents). The new comedy series is written and directed by Ilse Warringa, who also plays in Voetbalouders. In this recognizable series, we take a look at the chaotic world of over-enthusiastic football parents. They are tireless from the sidelines and are involved in more than just the football performances of their children.

Voetbalouders is a comedy series about a group of ambitious parents who shamelessly interfere with their children's amateur football careers. We are introduced to this world by Lilian and her son Levi, who is new to the team. Lilian quickly realizes that she wants to escape this quirky group of parents, especially overenthusiastic team leader Marenka, the last person you want to meet on a Saturday morning. However, Levi wants to stay and befriends Vito, the most eccentric child of them all, who also happens to be Marenka's son.

Ilse Warringa, Eva van Gessel, Mariana Aparicio Torres, Michiel Nooter, Edwin Jonker, Bas Hoeflaak, Guido Pollemans, Leonoor Koster, Arnoud Bos, Nyncke Beekhuyzen, Gürkan Küçüksentürk, Evrim Akyigit, Rian Gerritsen, Steef Cuijpers and René van 't Hof play the leading roles in Football Parents.

Football Parents can be seen exclusively on Netflix from Friday 16 May.
