Waarom gaan we niet vaker? is a Dutch special interest program which aired on AVROTROS. The series premiered on May 31, 2023.

A gigantic Moroccan wedding on a roof terrace in Groningen, an absurdist cabaret scene in a forest or a bus shelter as a stage for an amazing monologue: in the new TV program Why don't we go more often? theater is moved from the stage to a surprising location in the real world. Everything is a stage and everyone is an audience as the magic is brought from stage to television. Comedian Peter Pannekoek shows what beautiful things happen in the theaters in a way that suits him; fast, funny, surprising and sharp. In addition to the performances that thrill the viewer, Peter Pannekoek talks with colleagues about the profession, their inspiration and bad reviews.
