HBO Max is taking control of Warrior (2019). The action series has been renewed with a third season by the streaming service. The second season had lower ratings in comparison to the first season. Next to that, Cinemax has stopped creating Originals. Because of that decision, it appeared as if Warrior (2019) was going to end up cancelled. It is not yet known when this third season is going to release.
Warrior (2019) is based on the conceptual martial arts by legend Bruce Lee. The series takes place in San Francisco's Chinatown shortly after the civil war. It tells the story of a martial arts prodigy, who just arrived from China and finds himself stuck in the bloody Chinatown Tong wars.
