Warrior Nun renewed with a second season

Netflix has announced a second season for American fantasy series Warrior Nun. Less than two months ago, Warrior Nun premiered on Netflix. The streaming service has now renewed the fantasy series with a second season. Netflix revealed the news with a video featuring the cast on Twitter.

The series is based on the manga comic books by Ben Dunn and follows teenage orphan Ava, who awakens in a morgue with unexplainable superpowers. Ava finds out that she is the chosen one of a secret cult called The Order of the Cruciform Sword, which is supposed to protect the world from evil.
