SkyShowtime has released a teaser for the new Swedish dramedy Där solen alltid skiner (Where the Sun Always Shines).Där solen alltid skiner, created by Felix Herngren (Bonus Family), follows the couple Tom and Petra, who sell their supermarket in Sweden to start a luxurious life in Mallorca. However, their new existence takes an unexpected turn during Tom's 50th birthday, which has significant consequences for their family.

The cast includes Per Lasson, Lisa Linnertorp, Erik Johansson, Rakel Wärmländer, Claes Månsson, Suzanne Reuter, and Felix Herngren himself. The series is set against the sunny backdrop of Mallorca and explores family dramas and the challenges of expat life.

Där solen alltid skiner is part of a growing lineup of SkyShowtime Originals. Although the streaming service mainly offers major American productions from its parent companies, it is increasingly being supplemented with local dramas, comedies, and documentaries.

Recently, it was announced that SkyShowtime is working on a new Scandinavian Original: a series based on Johanna Hedman's bestseller The Trio. Additionally, the return of the Polish cult police series Glina is in the works, which will be revived after seventeen years.
