Finn Little Added to Cast of Yellowstone (2018) Spinoff About Beth & Rip

Finn Little will reprise his role as Carter in the upcoming, as-yet-untitled Yellowstone (2018) spin-off starring the beloved characters Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler.
Finn Little joins Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, who reprise their roles as Beth and Rip in this new series from Taylor Sheridan. According to sources, the spinoff will be set in the same contemporary timeframe as the original and will be most closely related to the original Yellowstone (2018) series in tone and storyline.

The original series Yellowstone (2018) tells the story of the Dutton family, owners of the largest contiguous cattle ranch in the United States. Beth Dutton, daughter of family boss John Dutton III (played by Kevin Costner), was once head of acquisitions at the financial firm Schwartz & Meyer.

Rip Wheeler, the ranch's scarred foreman, came to John as a young boy after killing his abusive stepfather to protect his mother. John took him in, taught him the cowboy trade, and considered him a son.

Carter, played by Finn Little, made his debut in the fourth season of Yellowstone (2018). His character is a troubled youth who meets Beth in the hospital, where she visits her ailing father, who dies from drug addiction.

After the loss of his father, Beth and Rip take him under their wing and let him work on the ranch. Although Beth, due to forced sterilization, cannot have children and doesn't see herself as a mother, a close bond develops between the couple and Carter, who dedicates himself to the ranch and earns his place.

Australian-born Finn Little is known not only for Yellowstone (2018), but also for his collaboration with Angelina Jolie and Jon Bernthal in the Taylor Sheridan film Those Who Wish Me Dead. On television, he has appeared in Netflix series such as Reckoning, in which he starred opposite Milly Alcock and Sam Trammell, and in Tidelands.
