Kurt Russell cast in Yellowstone (2018) spin-off The Madison

Kurt Russell has been added as a regular to The Madison, the new Yellowstone (2018) spin-off by Taylor Sheridan. The Madison tells a poignant story about grief and human connection, following a family from New York City who moves to the Madison River Valley in central Montana. Michelle Pfeiffer also plays a leading role. Even before the premiere of the first season, the series is expected to receive an early renewal for a second season.

Russell and Pfeiffer star alongside Patrick J. Adams, Elle Chapman, Matthew Fox, Beau Garrett, Amiah Miller, Alaina Pollack, Ben Schnetzer, Rebecca Spence, Danielle Vasinova, and Kevin Zegers.

Russell was recently seen in the Apple TV+ series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, in which he starred with his son Wyatt Russell. Although he has frequently appeared in television roles throughout his long career, he is best known for his work in films such as Overboard, Grindhouse, Big Trouble in Little China, Tombstone, Escape from New York, Escape from L.A., Backdraft, The Thing, and Tequila Sunrise.

His recent film roles include The Hateful Eight and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood by Quentin Tarantino, Deepwater Horizon by Peter Berg, Fast and Furious 8, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, The Christmas Chronicles 1 & 2, and Smurfs.
