Along the way, the early antics, anarchistic behavior, and sharp mind of the adolescent are revealed, long before he becomes the legendary resident of Baker Street. This origin story shows how his experiences and choices lay the foundation for the detective he will later become.
In addition to Hero Fiennes Tiffin, the cast includes Dónal Finn, Zine Tseng, Joseph Fiennes, Natascha McElhone, Max Irons, and Colin Firth, providing the series with a strong ensemble cast.
Guy Ritchie not only directs but also serves as an executive producer.
With this combination of a well-known literary figure, a fresh perspective, and a prominent creative team, Prime Video is betting on a grandly staged, adventurous origin story that sheds new light on one of history's most iconic detectives.
