24 is een Amerikaanse misdaadserie van de zender FOX. De serie ging in première op 6 november 2001.
24 speelt zich af in "real time". Elk seizoen duurt 24 uur en is een dag uit het leven van federaal agent Jack Bauer, waarop hij terroristische aanslagen probeert te voorkomen. Tegelijkertijd worden ook de gebeurtenissen bij de antiterrorismeorganisatie CTU (Counter Terrorist Unit) en belevenissen van andere personages gevolgd. De serie speelt zich af gedurende de eerste 6 seizoenen in Los Angeles, in seizoen 7 verhuisde het decor naar Washington D.C., seizoen 8 speelt zich af in New York en seizoen 9 speelt zich af in Londen.

A must for all Jack Bauer fans. For lovers of original thriller work without too many clichés; look elsewhere. All 24 elements are present; the security of the super secret CTU is several times as leaky as a basket, hackers are a bunch of unhinged "Occupy Wall Street" types. As usual, Chloe Jones' facial expression ranges from moody to sullen. Bright spot is the Kate Morgan character!

I had only seen season 1, now busy with season 2. I still have season 3, so luckily I still have a few episodes to go until the end of all seasons ;) The film, which connects to season 7 even ordered, because once you're in this series again, you won't want to stop. So far, season 2 is great again, I don't really understand why I waited so long to watch season 2, because it had been in the closet for years ;)
