8 Tage is a German science-fictionseries which aired on Sky Deutschland. The series premiered on March 1, 2019.

The earth is threatened by a 60-kilometer meteorite that is heading for Europe at 30,000 km / h. The chances of survival are practically there at zero, so that the whole of Europe is on the run. According to calculations, the population has eight days to get to safety. The series tells the story of a Berlin family and their handling of the impending disaster. The general order has largely collapsed. In addition, there are no official rescue plans, the only source of information is the television, where the local information flow between hope and hysteria fluctuates.
