Segarra (pictured left) plays Manny, Behpoornia (pictured center) plays Emily and Norris (pictured right) plays Simon. The trio are the good-natured representatives of the Philadelphia school district who want to bring a fresh perspective to their role as school ambassadors.
The hit ABC comedy kicks off on Wednesday, February 7, with two new episodes. The series will begin in the middle of the school year and will consist of fourteen episodes, following last year's dual WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Segarra currently stars in Apple TV+'s comedy series The Big Door Prize, opposite Chris O'Dowd. In 2023, Segarra starred in Scream 6 opposite Courteney Cox, Jenna Ortega and Melissa Barrera. Last year, he played Lance Arroyo in the third season of the HBO Max comedy series The Other Two and opposite Stephen Amell as Brooks Rizzo in the Starz wrestling drama series Heels. In 2022, Segarra joined the Marvel Universe, starring in the Disney+ series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law, alongside Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth and Ginger Gonzaga.
Behpoornia is an actor, writer and improviser. He had a regular role on the NBC comedy series Abby's and has appeared in HBO Max's Hacks, Hulu's Reboot and Netflix's Atypical, among others. Behpoornia also starred in the film The Unicorn Store, directed by Brie Larson in 2017.
Norris is a writer and performer who recently starred in Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher's Netflix series Never Have I Ever as the honest, caring and often clueless Trent and in the 2021 revival of iCarly (2021). Previously, Norris starred in NBC's Superstore.
