Trailer second season Alice in Borderland (2020) reveals deadly, new games

Netflix has released the long-awaited trailer for the second season of Alice in Borderland (2020). The quirky story will proceed and deadly, new games will be introduced.
The trailer for Alice in Borderland (2020) season 2 introduces deadly new games. A live-action adaptation of Haro Aso's manga series, which shares the same name, Alice in Borderland, debuted in 2020. Consisting of eight episodes and directed by Shinsuke Sato, the story follows characters who find themselves in an eerily abandoned Tokyo and are forced to compete in kill-or-be-killed competitions. As the season progressed, the show's universe expanded to reveal more secrets and a strange conspiracy that could go beyond what any protagonist expected. Though it was renewed shortly after its premiere, the second installment of the adaptation has been a long time coming.

Alice in Borderland (2020)

But now, after filming wrapped on Alice in Borderland (2020) season 2 back in March, Netflix has unveiled the trailer for the upcoming episodes. Set to debut on December 22, Alice in Borderland (2020) season 2 looks like it will double down on the wild aspects of the first installment. There's an emphasis on life-threatening and colorful matchups. But in the trailer's closing moments of the trailer, which are included below, there is a central question: will the deadly games come to an end?

The logline for Alice in Borderland (2020) season 2 points to the story's continuation, noting that Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and his companions must take on even more difficult and dangerous games to return to their original world. It's a summary that's careful not to give too much away. But based on the trailer, fans will recognize how the series intends to pick up from the big cliffhanger which concluded the initial episodes. More can be gleaned from the casting announcements, which confirm new and returning faces.

It was reported in June that Alice in Borderland (2020) season 2 added six new actors to the cast. Yuri Tsunematsu was announced as portraying the high school student Heiya, Tomohisa Yamashita, meanwhile, joined as the "King of Clubs" Kyūma, Hayato Isomura, Kai Inowaki, Katsuya Maiguma, and Honami Satō as Kotoko also joined the ensemble. They'll appear alongside returning stars Tao Tsuchiya, Nijiro Murakami, Ayaka Miyoshi, Dori Sakurada, Aya Asahina, Yutaro Watanabe, Tsuyoshi Abe, Sho Aoyagi, and Riisa Naka.

Yes! Fancy! Very cool series, of which season 2 has actually taken far too long. It's a bit like Squid Games but came before and is, in my opinion, a lot better. I saw that the 8 episodes will be available from December 22. It will indeed be a nice Christmas :-) I suspect that the "King of the Clubs" actually means the "King of the Clubs". Clubs is one of the four playing cards in English and stands for the clover cards. And I also saw playing cards in the trailer.
