Season two of Arcadia coming soon to NPO

The cast of the dystopian drama, which included Monic Hendrickx, was further expanded with Romana Vrede and Clara Cleymans.Arcadia is set in a dystopian society where your quality of life is determined by your 'citizen score'. The drama follows the Hendriks family, who have become the target of chief auditor Klaas Boukes, played by Ronald Top. He wants to get rid of Hanna (Ellie de Lange) and have Alex (Melody Klaver) deported, while the two sisters, together with regulator Marco Simons (Maarten Heijmans), search for evidence to use against him.



The Dutch start date of the second season of Arcadia has now been confirmed by KRO-NCRV: the new season will be shown on NPO 3, NPO Start and NPO Plus from next month.

The leading roles in Arcadia also include Abigail Abraham, Lynn Van Royen and Gene Bervoets. Newcomer Romana Vrede plays the head of Arcadia this season, known as The Guardian. After the attack on the Koepel, she tightens surveillance and security laws to make the nation safer.

In addition to Romana Vrede, Flemish actors Clara Cleymans and Aimé Claeys were also added to the cast. The second season was directed by Joël Vanhoebrouck, after Tim Oliehoek was previously responsible for directing the first season.

Arcadia season two can be seen every Sunday from Sunday 16 February on NPO 3 and then also on NPO Start. The entire season can also be streamed on NPO Plus from that date. Watch a trailer below.
