Wanneer archivaris Dan Turner (Athie) een mysterieuze taak aanneemt om een verzameling beschadigde videobanden uit 1994 te herstellen, reconstrueert hij het werk van documentairemaker Melody Pendras (Shihabi) en haar onderzoek naar een gevaarlijke sekte. Terwijl Dan door Melody's verhaal wordt aangetrokken, raakt hij ervan overtuigd dat hij haar kan redden van het angstaanjagende einde van 25 jaar geleden.

I don't understand the positive fuss about this series. Each episode becomes more and more long-winded and boring. The 7th was even dull. And that guy who plays Dan...man man man...flat...without any emotion...colorless...

The pace of the series is not too fast and it starts a bit slowly, but I still enjoyed it. Story is well put together, has a wonderful Lovecraftian vibe. I see here that the series has ended, but as far as I understood, little is known about whether there will be another season. As far as I'm concerned, it's allowed anyway!

It is not true horror, just has some scary scenes, after the whole season I found it interesting because they explained what is really going on throught all episodes

Very poor acting and an even poorer plot. Extending to a series of more than six and a half hours, where 90 minutes would have been sufficient as a film, does not benefit the story at all. This umpteenth attempt at a "found footage" horror is slow, predictable and boring. Missed opportunity.
