Arrow is een Amerikaanse superheldenserie van de zender The CW. De serie ging in première op 10 oktober 2012.
Arrow vertelt de avonturen van de legendarische DC held Green Arrow in de moderne tijd. 5 jaar nadat Oliver Queen schipbreuk heeft geleden en gedacht dat hij was overleden, wordt hij levend aangetroffen op een afgelegen eiland in de grote oceaan. Nadat hij door zijn moeder, zus en beste vriend met open armen is ontvangen in Starling City, merken zij dat er iets in die 5 jaar veranderd is. Terwijl Oliver geheim probeert te houden wie hij is geworden, probeert hij met een oplossing te komen met de keuzes welke hij als jongen heeft gemaakt. Terwijl Oliver opnieuw zijn relaties met zijn vrienden en familie probeert op te pakken, creëert hij zijn alter ego, The Green Arrow, waarmee hij de strijd aan gaat met de verkeerde acties van zijn familie en de ziektes van de maatschappij om zo Sterling City weer in de vergane glorie te herstellen.

Arrow is really not a high-quality series .... Every episode I am bothered by the bad choreography and downright bad acting ... Arrow is entertaining to watch and I've had enough of that...... .It doesn't have the quality as Dexter and eg Person of interest

Sigh.... episode 8 was another dramatically bad episode. There is never a moment of tension and the acting is deplorable again, not to mention the choreography of the fight scenes. What a bad series

This series is not good, just bad. Actors seem like actors and don't care for a moment and the action scenes are so unbelievable that you can see the camera crew standing by. in short disappointing and to me a mystery why it gets an 8.3 on IMDb and is more popular than dexter and homeland

This series is one of the stronger series I'm following at the moment. I see a lot of comparisons with Dexter and POI, but that's comparing apples to oranges. Not everyone likes the same thing, I also think Dexter is strong, but not to watch 1 jerk, something I did with the first 9 of Arrow. Not every series needs a complicated plot! Arrow does what it's supposed to do and I hope to get a season or 5 of this!

@antimidant you are comparing Arrow to Person of Interest. Now I've started following that series too, but I don't see what's better about that. The series is strong like Arrow, but PoI is full of inconsistencies. In episode 6, for example, a journalist is murdered for a recording, why didn't the social security number of this journalist come out of the machine at the same time as that of the fixer.

Of course, the question is always what it will be if they make a movie or series about a DC Superhero! It's not a super series but just like antimidant entertaining to watch! A nice weekday series. He also always aired on Wednesdays. Acting could of course be much better. Of course but we'll see. I wouldn't be surprised if it got cancelled.

I think the series just keeps getting better. I wasn't really enthusiastic about the first episodes either, but now that the story has taken shape and is becoming clearer, I really don't think it's a bad series. Wonder what happened the rest of the 5 years on the island. We have only seen 3 months and a lot has already happened. I will continue to follow

I can give the credit to JessePinkman97 after one season... I don't often watch a series with reluctance. There's just nothing in Arrow at all. Level Megamindy....Nickelodeon. Somewhat amusing if there really is nothing else...sigh.

Well... Have yet to see the 1st season, but if a series here is at number 6 in the top 50 and gets an 8.1 on IMDb, then it seems to me that it is comparable to Megamindy. Maybe more a matter of taste Antimidant?
