Ascension is een Amerikaanse sciencefictionserie van de zender Syfy. De serie ging in première op 15 december 2014.
In 1963 stuurt de overheid van de Verenigde Staten honderden mannen, vrouwen en kinderen de ruimte in voor een honderd jaar durende missie om een nieuwe wereld te koloniseren. De passagiers beginnen wantrouwig te worden als er halverwege de reis een vrouw op mysterieuze wijze vermoord wordt. De tijd dringt, want binnenkort zijn ze te ver verwijderd om nog veilig terug te keren naar aarde.

Not quite. At The 100, humans were sent into space in connection with a nuclear war and then returned to Earth 100 years later. At Ascension people will be sent to poplar on another planet but things will go wrong. Population is not involved in The 100 and will be purely about the survival of the human race.

Just watched the last episode of this series. In hindsight, I shouldn't have started this series at all because the ending is terrible. I hated it.
