Atypical renewed for fourth and final season

Atypical is an American comedy series from Netflix. The third season released in November 2019.

Atypical revolves around 18-year-old Sam (Keir Gilchrist) who is autistic and enters the slippery dating world. This results in funny and painful situations. But the rest of the family is also struggling with anything and everything. Mother Elsa (Jennifer Jason Leigh) cheated with a much younger bartender and then this was discovered by her husband Doug (Michael Rapaport). Sister Casey (Brigette Lundy-Paine) is busy with her own quest for love.

The cast consists of Keir Gilchrist, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Michael Rapaport, Brigette Lundy-Paine, Amy Okuda, Nik Dodani and Jenna Boyd. Atypical is conceived, written and produced by Robia Rashid (How I Met Your Mother, Will & Grace).

Netflix has announced that Atypical will have a fourth and final season. It'll consist of ten episodes. Netflix says that the last season will not release in 2020, but in 2021.
