Niemand wil bekend staan als dát meisje of díe jongen op de middelbare school. Nou, dat is precies wat er gebeurt met de 15-jarige Jenna Hamilton in de comedy Awkward.

It's devastatingly hard not to fall for Jenna. I already went for the ax. Although definitely a youth series, I can still enjoy this in my 40s. And that's because the two main characters are so engaging, then you take the "childishness" into it. Nice relaxing series as far as I'm concerned ... Minus point in the series for me personally is the "student guide counselor" who, week after week, displays a sample of overacting to say the least. The series is currently running on MTV, where it will broadcast through the fifth season. Telenet Play More subscribers can watch your binge up to episode 12 of season 3.
