Wow what a series. I just watched the first 2 episodes, and this series immediately catapults itself into my personal to 5. What a setting, what an acting performance. Raw and pure. Story immediately sucks you in the middle of filthy Berlin during the interwar period. Look!!!!!
An interwar period (from Latin inter, between and bellum, war) is a period between two wars. The interwar period is the period between the First and the Second World War.
What a series it grabs you by the throat from the beginning to the end. And what an acting job normally I'm not into writing a review but this time I had to do it. So highly recommended. TO LOOK
A series that grows; the second season is stronger than the first series, but style and atmosphere are retained. Perhaps more underlying references can be found in a second vision; to history itself, film, the world of science and art in what was then Berlin (Germany) ... An example is the painting with the Sorokin family before the Revolution, still under the Tsar regime. The reference to the massacred family of the Czars is like a piece of cake. The find by train is magnificent. This second season actually forms a seamless whole with the first, it could have been packaged like that - sixteen pieces. Sometimes the series seems to be a bit over the top, but then because of action scenes - and as a film this is quite good, just like Gereon and Bruno who sometimes remind you of the Dikke & the Dunne - coincidence or by design. There is even more to it, just as with history itself. A series to further unravel the puzzle afterwards. Grandiose, but for us just under 10 * Looking forward to the third part then. Expectations are high. (M)
