ABC gives full season orders to ‘Trophy Wife’ & ‘Goldbergs’, partial order to ‘Super Fun Night’, cancels ‘Back In The Game’

ABC has given back 9 orders to Trophy Wife and The Goldbergs. That means an additional nine episodes will be added in addition to the 13 being produced. Both will be around for a full 22 episodes. Also, four more episodes of Super Fun Night have been ordered.

Meanwhile, Back in the Game has been cancelled. Back in the Game, starring James Caan and Maggie Lawson, won’t be pulled and will air the remainder of its original 13-episode order. However, no more will be produced.

The Goldbergs and Trophy Wife join Agents of SHIELD on the list of ABC's full-season pick-ups for new shows, while Back in the Game joins Lucky 7 on the cancellation pile. There are still no decisions on new dramas Betrayal and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. Back in the Game is the fifth casualty of the new fall season, following Lucky 7, We Are Men, Ironside and Welcome to the Family.
