Second season Bad Banks to release on Netflix next week

The second season of, which features the Dutch Barry Atsma (KLEM) in the lead, will release on Netflix in a couple of days. Back in 2018, Bad Banks premiered on the German network Arte. The first season has already been made available on Netflix in several countries. In the meanwhile, a second season of the financial drama series has already released, which will release on Netflix on the 10th of November. This release date may differ per country.

Bad Banks revolves around an ambitious young banker, Jana Likam (Paula Beer). When she is suddenly fired, she doesn't know what to do anymore. However, she receives help she didn't expect. Barry Atsma (KLEM) portrays Gabriel Fenger, who works for a big bank in Frankfurt. Oliver Kienle (Tatort), who created the series, has written the scenario for both the first and the second season. The first season was directed by Christian Schwochow (Children of Mars), but Christian Zübert (Arthurs Gesetz) has served as the director for season two.
