I think it's a TOP series, does anyone know when season 2 starts. If I have to compare the series with Pirates of the Caribbean, I think Black sails is much better, PARTICULARLY BECAUSE THEY DO NOT INCLUDE THOSE STUPID ZOMBIES.

Satisfied first episode on my gums. Too polished and plastic. Even the occasional boob flying by isn't going to make this a compelling story, I'm afraid. And I love flying boobs. Hoping that John Malkovich will tap into a grittier pirate keg with Crossbones.

Series that entertained me immensely and better than I initially expected. Good characters, good actors, good story, good effects, what more could you want? A fifth season perhaps, but you can't have everything. In any case, the series is nicely rounded off. That's quite something these days.

What a great series !! every season gets better and better. 2 more episodes from season 3 and then wait for S4 to come. GOH and Vikings were at the top of my favorites. Black Sails is now also on what a cool series.

I really think this is a terrible series! It's that my boyfriend thought it was great, but I really had to struggle through it...how slow! Maybe I'm too spoiled with Game of Thrones and Da Vinci's Demons....

Well if 1 series is slow to start, then it is Game of Thrones. That series was really made by the hype. Furthermore, it might also be more of a man thing pirates and stuff because I liked these a lot better than Crossbones

I liked it, I especially like the pirate captain. It is clear that the 18th century atmosphere is not really noticeable, but the desired rawness and roughness is present, it is not "Pirates of the Caribbean" but what do you expect from a series.

Just watched the second episode. What a bad series. Too much "fuck" "cock" and the nude scenes are definitely not functional. Too beautiful and too clean people. Pirates must stink. The story itself doesn't interest me either. After seeing the umpteenth "beaver" I do want to make a call to make the hairy 70' pussies standard again.
