Drug problems, aggression, racism and the consequences of weapon use are the harsh reality that the Dutch police are confronted with on a daily basis.

The documentary series 'Blauw' offers an intimate and in-depth look into the world of police work. Officers, each with their own specialism, show from the front line what this profession really does to them. In addition to the exciting and challenging aspects of their work, the personal stories and emotions of the officers who put on their uniforms every day are central.
