Bortført (Abducted) is a Norwegian dramaseries which aired on TV 2. The series premiered on April 11, 2021.

What happened in Oslo' is about 24-year-old Norwegian Pia (played by Andrea Berntzen) who, along with two Israelis, is kidnapped by members of the Islamic State in the Sinai desert. Being held hostage by Islamic State often means that things are usually not going to end well for you. Pia's parents are both diplomats with quite a few contacts in the Middle East. Full of tension and stress, they set to work to free their beloved daughter. Meanwhile, Islamic State terrorists are making their demands: the hostages will be killed one by one unless 12 IS members imprisoned are released. How are they going to get out of this tricky dilemma?
