Near the end of June, the tenth season of the British medical drama series Call the Midwife will air on BBC First. At least three more seasons will be released. Currently, the tenth season is airing on BBC One, but it will not be long before it becomes available on BBC First. The first episode of the tenth season will air on the 22nd of June. The medical drama series had already been renewed with its eleventh season, but since then a twelfth and thirteenth season
have been ordered as well.
Call the Midwife revolves around a group of nurses and midwives who all work in the same hospital. The story is based on the bestseller memoirs by Jennifer Worth. From 1953 till 1973, she worked as a day and night nurse and midwife in the London East End hospital. The tenth season will take place in the year 1966.
