Well, I've seen the Pilot ... with difficulty! I have no idea what the book is like, and whether the series will get better, but I will now drop out. What a waste of time that was. Barry Fairbrother dies, politics, a drug-addicted mother, an angry father who uses his wife and children as slaves ... all in a long drawn-out story. No thanks!
