Premiere date third season and fourth season renewal Cobra Kai

Netflix has renewed the American action series Cobra Kai with a fourth season. Next to that, the premiere date for the third season was announced.

The first two seasons of Cobra Kai were exclusively available at YouTube, but the series can also be watched on Netflix nowadays. Earlier this year, Cobra Kai moved from YouTube to Netflix, which will also serve as the exclusive platform for the third season. The third season is set to release on the 8th of January in 2021. Next to that, the streaming service also released some footage for the newest season.

Even though the third season hasn't even started just yet, Netflix has already made a decision about the future of the show. Cobra Kai has been renewed with a fourth season. It hasn't been revealed, however, when this season is set to release.

Cobra Kai takes place thirty years after the All Valley Karate tournament in 1984. The story tells the tale of trusted characters from the original movie; Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. Actors Ralph Maccio and Wiliam Zabka came back to portray them once more.
