Cobra Kai to release on Netflix near the end of August

The American action dramedy series Cobra Kai will release on Netflix in August. The series has been taken over from YouTube.

The first two seasons of Cobra Kai were exclusively available on Youtube, but Netflix has taken over the distribution rights of the series. The first two seasons will also be available on Netflix from the 28th of August. Later this year, a third season will also release on Netflix.

Cobra Kai is the sequel to the popular movie The Karate Kid. The series, which was very popular on the YouTube streaming service back in 2018, takes place thirty years after the All Valley Karate Tournament in 1984. It revolves around Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence. The two are portrayed by the same actors as in the movie, Ralph Maccio (The Deuce) and William Zabka (How I Met Your Mother)
