De Gezonken Meesters

De Gezonken Meesters is a Dutch special interest program which aired on Omroep Max. The series premiered on January 19, 2025.

The program The Sunken Masters focuses on 6 Dutch masterpieces that were lost when the ship Vrouw Maria sank in 1771. Creatives and professional artists are given the opportunity to breathe new life into works by Paulus Potter and Gerard Dou, among others – masters who belong to the top of Dutch painters in the seventeenth century. An ode to the iconic painters, but above all to creative Netherlands.
