Defiance
Defiance is een Amerikaanse sciencefictionserie van de zender Syfy. De serie ging in première op 15 april 2013.
Defiance speelt zich af op een toekomstige aarde, Defiance introduceert kijkers aan een wereld die bewoont is door mens en alien die samen op dezelfde planeet leven die door oorlog helemaal verwoest is en ook nog getransformeerd is door buitenaardse machines die de wereld omploegen zodat die volledig toegespitst is op de aliens. Het verhaal draait om Jeb Nolan, een soort Sherrif die probeert de orde te handhaven in deze nieuwe wereld. Nolan is een voormalig marine officier die mee gevochten heeft tegen de binnen dringende aliens. Tijdens deze oorlog heeft hij zijn vrouw en kind verloren. Dit trauma heeft hem veranderd tot een eenling in deze nieuwe en gevaarlijke wereld...

with little expectation I went to watch this series, I thought it was yet another clone of an sf series that gave a picture of an earth that was completely screwed up. (walking dead, The 100, Falling skies, The last ship, Revolution) the first episodes were really interesting, after that it got a bit less, the last episodes were so surprising that I'm looking forward to the second season, The fact is that this series doesn't really stand out above the rest

x-on:Bodrick I don't really know either. It's not really like I was like, gosh, what a great episode. I found that about 45 minutes to 1 o'clock the story fell a bit dead, which was then picked up again with the fight. I just wonder what will become the common thread of the series, because it hasn't really been explained yet what the intention is. If it's going to consist of simply defending Defiance every episode then I'm done with it quickly.

I still watched the last 3 episodes because I had some time to spare. Final episode was okay, but like all other episodes not spectacular.

s3 ep13 I found quite surprising. although s3 was not as good as the previous one, the end of s3 was good. do not know if there will be an s4 but if it comes, I will be there again

I saw the pilot in part of episode 2, but gave up right away. This is another series that quickly goes in the trash for me. I don't even bother to look further. A 3 for me.
