Dept. Q spent six weeks in the global Netflix Top 10 for English-language series and amassed approximately 222 million viewing hours, which translates to approximately 27 million full season viewings. In the US alone, the series clocked in at 47.57 million hours of viewing time in four weeks, according to Nielsen.
Scott Frank writes, directs, and serves as executive producer on the series. Rob Bullock and Charlotte Moore are co-executive producers, while Mona Qureshi and Manda Levin are overseeing the project on behalf of Netflix.
Qureshi and Levin emphasized: “We are eager to return to Carl Morck and his glorious mavericks at Dept. Q. Scott Frank brought us top-tier storytelling and captivated Netflix viewers worldwide. We can’t wait to see what Morck and his team discover in season two.”
