Dexter
Dexter is een Amerikaanse misdaadserie van de zender Showtime. Dexter ging in première op 1 oktober 2006.
Dexter is gebaseerd op het boek: Darkly Dreaming Dexter van Jeff Lindsay. Dexter Morgan (gespeeld door Michael C. Hall) is forensisch onderzoeker bij de politie in Miami. Hij verloor zijn ouders toen hij drie was en sleept een mysterieus trauma mee: hij is zelf een seriemoordenaar. Zijn adoptievader, politieman Harry Morgan, herkende Dexters psychopathische neigingen en leerde hem zijn onweerstaanbare drang om mensen te vermoorden te kanaliseren. Dexter mag enkel mensen vermoorden 'die het verdienen': seriemoordenaars die door de mazen van het net glippen en op vrije voeten rondlopen. Van Harry heeft Dexter geleerd hoe hij zich in het dagelijkse leven normaal moet gedragen.

Wow what an ending! Very sorry about that last minute at the wood factory, that was really unnecessary and ruined it a bit... but otherwise I think it is very neatly closed! Last seasons were a bit less but think it ended well!

Just watched the very last episode of Dexter, but I wish I had never watched it. An ending that made me angry. what a bad ending. Still, I was able to enjoy 95 episodes of the fantastic series. Too bad I could not have enjoyed 96 episodes of this wonderful series.

Very hard to get through in the first season. But once you watch it, it's a wonderful series. I also didn't agree with the ending :(

can someone tell me if dexter will survive season 8? I have now started season 6 and think it is a wonderful series. will make it. I think it's a shame, but if dexter ends up well, this will make up for a lot!

Better late than never; what a fantastic ending to Dexter 8; completely in line with the series; very unbelievable and yet fascinating to the end, that's great, because Dexter gets away with everything for 96 episodes and survives everything and now also. What comes of Dexter now: a. He has amnesia and with time realizes 96 new episodes, who he is and who he has been, or b. partial amnesia and saving as a lumberjack for a trip to his beloved son and Hannah, a and b can also go together of course. For a moment I was happy to hope to be off Dexter, after the 8th season, but now everything is upside down again, completely in the style of Dexter.
