I've already seen the first series with Capaldi on BBC, and am now finishing the last Matt Smith series. Not as bad as I feared. But I think Capaldi is much better than Smith.

Wow, watched seasons 4 to 7 in 12 days, Matt Smith was the best doctor yet! And Steven Moffat as a writer from season 5 is also great, how he manages to link everything together! Definitely recommended for everyone! best seasons are 5 and 6 Really can't wait for new episodes to come!

Season 6 was the worst so far in my opinion. Too many weird things (and that's saying something considering we're talking about doctor who) and the whole Pond family thing was unnecessary and too much and too long. It didn't feel like a doctor who series with wacky adventures but more like a Pound drama series that happened to have a doctor in it…but that's personal. The first 4 seasons were really fun. 5 to 7 I liked less but still nice. I clearly thought 10 was the best doctor, but I also liked 11 and 9. I'm looking forward to the 12th doctor :)

nice series: there is a lot of reference to the classic series from the 60s, late 80s. is also a must to watch, but you have to take the time for it :) peter is very well cast as the doctor: finally 1 that does what he wants. the episode reminds me a lot of tom baker when he was a doctor. I do miss the specials and the children in need mini episodes :)
