Dr. Nasrs Wunderkammer

Dr. Nasr's Wunderkammer is an Dutch documentary which is aired on NTR. The series premiered on January 11th, 2023.

Not a single spot in the home of actor and writer Ramsey Nasr is empty: books and CDs, but also less conventional items such as butterflies, fossils, taxidermied animals, natural history encyclopedias, hand axes, old prints, and photography—he collects it all. Where does this fascination come from? Is there a common thread running through all these different things, and is a collection ever ‘finished’? In a world that largely takes place online, in this series we disappear into the tangible universe of Ramsey Nasr and his Wunderkammer. A self-created world that poses the question to the viewer: how do we relate to the past?
