Very nice series! A modern Sherlock and very original "Watson"! Every now and then a touch of humor and good stories! Well worth the effort!

Worth a look for Lucy Liu alone. The fact that such a formidable actress cooperated in this, gives the series a big extra. The plot lines are (mostly) top notch and the Sherlock character is fine too, a compliment from me (because I'm such a fan of Cumberbatch and "his" Sherlock is of course unbeatable). The side characters Gregson and Bell are completely in their roles, and the atmosphere that emanates from the entire series feels nice and homely. Very relaxing viewing food. The episodes in which Sherlock's brother Mycroft or his nemesis Moriarity turn up are among the best, I think. Highly recommended for fans of Castle, The Mentalist or Forever.

Yes, I also know that at Elementary you should always say as a disclaimer: "Okay, but it's not Sherlock.". However, that does not mean that you can't look at it well. Not least because Lucy Liu is in it and so I have a lot of love for Lucy. You should too. No one removes the head from his torso as sexy as she does. Lucy plays Sherlock's buddy. Sherlock put heroin from the spoon in his arm and that is not a socially desirable activity. Sherlock understood that, so to escape the temptations of the opiate, he took a plane from London to New York. I actually started to appreciate the series more after I realized that "sick boy" from Trainspotting has the leading role of Sherlock Holmes in this. He is unfortunately not Jeremey Brett in his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes, but he still convincingly portrays the character.

so much better than the series: sherlock holmes. definitely my fave. much grieving! and however. I like brett too, but always a little stiff. elementary is my favorite series!!!

....Surprising....Just when I actually wanted to give up following Elementary, I watched episode 12 out of boredom ........ This episode lacks tension and a storyline from the previous 11 episodes disappear completely.. Moriarty is back and there is actually more depth in the acting and the characters than before. After this observation I am very curious how they will continue Elementary and whether the quality of 12 will be preserved....
