The series is set in a world where everyone over the age of eighteen develops a superpower - everyone except 25-year-old Jen (Tyers). She feels left behind. Fortunately, Jen's roommates - Carrie (Oxenham), Kash (Hasna) and a mysterious stray cat - prevent her from falling into a pit of self-pity. Adrift in a big, confusing world, and armed with nothing but a little hope and a lot of desperation, Jen begins her journey to find her maybe superpower. But as she does, she may discover the joy of just being okay.
The series was ordered by Disney+ in April 2021, under the Star brand. All eight half-hour episodes of the first season were released simultaneously. It is not yet known when the second season will be released.
