Prime Video shows first images of post-apocalyptic series Fallout

Prime Video has released nine first photos from the new Fallout series from Westworld creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy.Fallout is based on the video game series of the same name and is the story of haves and have-nots in a world where you can hardly have anything anymore. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the friendly residents of luxury bomb shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hell their ancestors left behind. They are shocked to discover that an incredibly complex, cheerfully strange and very violent universe awaits them.



Set in the future post-apocalyptic Los Angeles and the world of Fallout, the series is an original story that will become part of the canon of the games.

The cast is led by Ella Purnell (Yellowjackets) in the role of Lucy, Aaron Moten (neXt (2020)) in the role of Maximus, Walton Goggins (The Righteous Gemstones) as The Ghoul and Kyle MacLachlan (Desperate Housewives) as Overseer Hank .

The cast also includes Moisés Arias (Hannah Montana), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Evil), Leslie Uggams (Empire), Frances Turner (The Man in the High Castle), Dave Register, Zach Cherry (Severance), Johnny Pemberton (Superstore), Rodrigo Luzzi, Annabel O'Hagan and Xelia Mendes-Jones.

The series premieres on Friday, April 12.

Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are the executive producers, writers and co-showrunners. Nolan and Joy are producing through Kilter Films under their overall Amazon deal. Athena Wickham of Kilter Films is also producing alongside Todd Howard for Bethesda Game Studios and James Altman for Bethesda Softworks. Jonathan Nolan directed the first three episodes of the epic series.
