Football Island

Football Island is an Dutch reality program which is aired on Videoland. The series premiered on March 29th, 2026.

Just before the transfer window closes, eleven footballers sign up at the last minute for a sporting adventure in a tropical paradise. In one fell swoop, Frank de Boer, Ronald de Boer, John van ’t Schip, Richard Witschge, Kenneth Pérez, Wesley Sneijder, Ryan Babel, Mike Obiku, Kees Kwakman, Tom Beugelsdijk, and Jan van Halst make the switch to a new team.

Their destination: Football Island. Led by presenter Frank Evenblij, the stadium heroes compete in a unique competition that no footballer has ever played before. They have to survive on the island. They don't have much food. They play games for advanteges. Individual or in teams. With 2 captains. They compete. And people have to go home and at the end one player will win the program.
