The concept of "comedy" is apparently in dire need of revision, as witnessed by this pilot of a new Canadian ass smack, where I interrupted the episode four times to see how long this torture had to last. I don't know if this is a new personal record for me, but since the "spectacle" only lasted 21 minutes, I will probably come pretty close. This is the kind of comedy where those who can laugh about it spontaneously are probably in dire need of a visit to the local psychiatrist. William and Bondurant (I'm not making it up) are very best friends. Likewise, the two girls Jamie and Mitzi William and Jamie are a couple and Bondurant and Mitzi are also a couple. What can you expect from these four roguish friends? Especially a lot of endless bullshit, but little fun, although that may of course also have to do with the local "Place to be" that they frequent, which is a kind of snack bar instead of a cozy pub or other establishment where people hang out at night. . The "When Harry met Sally scene" but performed even less funny. A very theatrical argument from Bondurant about nothing, although I can still understand that somewhat because of his own name. A confused story by one of the girls in a public toilet about a talking pig who dies. A declaration of love from Bondurant (a topper this guy) to the sweetheart of his best friend while the four of them (including his own pregnant girlfriend) are sitting at a table. Since both men and women also live together, the misery continues at home after all that entertainment. And all of that around 4 in the morning. You might think that the company would be lonely around that hour, but nothing could be further from the truth. The only one here who could reach for the bottle in a reflex is the viewer who has to endure all this. This is the kind of comedy that, if you know in advance what to expect, you will only watch if it comes with serious compensation. Unfortunately, there is so far no form on the entire internet with which you can submit any claim for compensation and it is better to leave this series for what it is.
