Für immer Sommer

Für immer Sommer is a German crime series which aired on Das Erste. The series premiered on November 22, 2024.

An exchange program for “safe tourism” takes German police officer Sophie Maibachs (Anke Retzlaff – “Across the Border”) to Tenerife. However, she also has other intentions there. Five years ago, her father (Michael Roll) died in a hit-and-run accident. There are many indications that the person responsible also lives on Tenerife. However, the case is closed for Sophie's superiors, so further investigations are officially out of the question - but Sophie continues to investigate unofficially.
In Tenerife, Sophie then works with Spanish-German colleague Álvaro Krupp-Casado (Félix Herzog). The two of them are supposed to work together on routine cases involving German tourists. But it usually doesn't stay with this routine.
