The sequel to Frasier will premiere on Thursday, October 12 with two episodes, followed by new episodes every Thursday. Internationally, Frasier will premiere a day later with new episodes on Friday. In addition, CBS will air the first two episodes on Tuesday, October 17.
The ten-episode series also stars Nicholas Lyndhurst (New Tricks) as Frasier's old college friend and now college professor Alan, Toks Olagundoye (The Neighbors) as Olivia, Alan's colleague and head of the university psychology department, Jess Salgueiro (Y: The Last Man) as Freddy's roommate Eve and Anders Keith as Frasier's cousin David.
Bebe Neuwirth will reprise the role of Lilith, Frasier's ex-wife and mother of Freddy, who originally came from the hit NBC series Cheers. Peri Gilpin, who played Roz in the original Frasier, also returns.
Frasier is written by writers Chris Harris and Joe Cristalli, who co-produce the series with Kelsey Grammer, Tom Russo and Jordan McMahon. The series is produced by CBS Studios, in association with Grammer's Grammnet NH Productions.
The first two episodes of the new series are directed by director and television producer James Burrows, who is best known for his work as co-creator, executive producer and director of the critically acclaimed series Cheers, as well as the original series Frasier, Will & Grace and Dear John. The series is distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution outside of the Paramount+ markets.
