Reunion episode Friends to premiere this month

After some corona related delays, the long-expected Friends reunion will finally premiere on HBO Max this month. For the Friends reunion episode Jennifer Aniston (The Morning Show), Courteney Cox (Cougar Town), Lisa Kudrow (Web Therapy), Matt LeBlanc (Man with a Plan), Matthew Perry (The Odd Couple (2015)) and David Schwimmer (Band of Brothers) will reunite. The six portrayed the lead characters in the immensely popular Friends between 1994 and 2004. Next to the lead actors, various special guests will be part of the special.

Friends remained popular amongst the older generation, but even the newer generation finds it easy to go through all the 236 episodes. After a long wait, the special episode will release on HBO Max on the 27th of May. Back in February 2020, the special was announced. Due to the corona pandemic, production of the episode was delayed.



Friends revolves around a group of six friends. The six twenty-year-olds work and live in Manhattan, New York. The story takes place in different apartments and the coffee corner that is found in their street near Central Park.
