Fringe is een Amerikaanse sciencefictionserie van de zender FOX. De serie ging in première op 9 september 2008.
Fringe draait rond FBI agente Olivia Dunham, de gestoorde professor Dr. Walter Bishop en zijn zoon Peter, die worden belast met een aantal vreemde zaken die over de hele wereld gebeuren. Al die vreemde gebeurtenissen zijn blijkbaar op de een of andere manier aan elkaar gelinkt: er is duidelijk 'een patroon' te herkennen dat over alle zaken heen loopt. Het patroon kan tevens gelinkt worden aan Massive Dynamic, een firma die een aantal patenten houdt op een aantal nieuwe technologieën en enkele mysterieuze onderzoeken doet. Alle zaken draaien rond Fringe science, een tak van de wetenschap die zeer speculatief en omstreden is. Voorbeelden van deze tak van de wetenschap zijn levitatie, telepathie en onzichtbaarheid.

Will Fringe season 5 still be released on DVD with Dutch subtitles? Where or to whom is the best place to ask this? Warner Home Video Benelux publishes this series here, but I can't find a way on their website to ask this question (via email or telephone.) Will part 5 be released in the Netherlands at all with Dutch subtitles? Who knows this....

Absolutely!! Fringe is one of the best series I've seen so far. I am now watching season 5 with subtitles on DVD. The series is from the writers and producers trio JJ Abrams Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci known from Star Trek, Lost, Person of Interest, among others. Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci now have a new series on FOX. "Sleepy Hollow" is an American supernatural drama television series that premiered on FOX on September 16, 2013. Does anyone know if there are any reviews yet??

I think if you're a fan of the X files you'll definitely appreciate this series. The series has more in common than what Recescent Dennis would have you believe. The comparison with Lost is definitely a false statement. This is X-files revamped, with good stories, and an old madman that you get attached to very quickly. Walter Bishop becomes kind of the crazy uncle in the family, who you always want to have on birthdays. Recommended!
