Futurama
Futurama is een Amerikaanse animatieserie van de zender Hulu (voorheen FOX). De serie ging in première op 28 maart 1999.
Futurama draait om het personage Fry, een pizzabezorger uit New York die zichzelf per ongeluk invriest op 1 januari 2000. Pas 1000 jaar later, in het jaar 3000, wordt hij weer ontdooid. De wereld is in die 1000 jaar sterk veranderd. Fry probeert zich zo goed mogelijk staande te houden in deze vreemde futuristische wereld. Hij maakt een paar vrienden waaronder de robot Bender en de cycloop Leela. Samen gaan ze werken voor een koeriersdienst genaamd Planet Express, opgezet door een nakomeling van Fry, en beleven ze de vreemdste avonturen.
