Season twelve is expected to debut on Hulu in 2024. The most recent order of twenty episodes is for seasons thirteen and fourteen.

The animated series premiered in 1999 and quickly gained a loyal following and acclaim, including two primetime Emmys for Outstanding Animated Program.
Futurama follows Philip J. Fry (Billy West), a New York City pizza delivery boy who accidentally freezes himself in 1999 and is thawed out in the year 3000. In this astonishing New New York, he befriends the hard-drinking robot Bender (John DiMaggio). and falls in love with the cyclops Leela (Katey Sagal). The trio find work at the Planet Express Delivery Company, founded by Fry's descendant, Professor Hubert Farnsworth. Together with accountant Hermes Conrad (Phil Lamarr), assistant Amy Wong (Lauren Tom) and alien lobster Dr. John Zoidberg (West), they embark on exciting adventures that take them to all corners of the universe.
The cast also includes Tress MacNeille, Maurice LaMarche and David Herman.
After its initial release on Fox, Futurama was successfully released on DVD from 2007 to 2009. That led to its rebirth on Comedy Central from 2010 to 2013. After a "short" ten-year hiatus, Hulu came along and ordered twenty episodes.
Futurama was created by Matt Groening and developed by Groening and David X. Cohen. Executive producers are Groening, Cohen, Ken Keeler and Claudia Katz.
It's from 20th Television Animation, which is part of Disney Television Studios. The animation is provided by Rough Draft Studios.
Futurama is a key pillar of Hulu's Animayhem brand, which the streamer launched in July. Hulu remains home to all episodes of fan favorites, including 20th Television Animations' Family Guy, Bob's Burgers, American Dad! and others.
