HBO renews ‘Getting On’ for second season

The dark comedy ‘Getting On’ is renewed for a second season of six episodes. The first season also had six episodes and premiered in November 2013.

‘Getting On’ stars Laurie Metcalf, Niecy Nash, Alex Borstein and Mel Rodriguez and revolves around a dysfunctional staff that works on the geriatric floor of a hospital. The show is based on the UK series with the same name.
